The Championship was played out at The Nottinghamshire Golf & Country Club on Tuesday 25th October 2011in wonderful weather conditions and on a golf course in prime condition.

In the scratch competitions, Isaac Walker (West Bridgford) repeated his 2010 Boys win with a wonderful two under par 69 to take the title from Liam Taylor (Garibaldi) by one shot, Emily Lyle (Portland) took the Girls title with a 75 and James Hollis (Fernwood) successfully defended his Under 16 title win a 75.

In the handicap competitions, Jack Jephson (Quarrydale) took the Boys title by a shot from James Moore (Beckett) to make it a speldid double for his School following Joe Hague's victory in the Matchplay final the day before. In the Girls section, Eliza Davidson (Nottingham Girls High School) shot a stunning 61 to leave the rest of the field well behind.

As far as the team competition, Quarrydale (Jack Jephson, Travis Turner & Lewis Mallinson) completed the third celebration for that School by winning by two shots from West Bridgford A (Isaac Walker, Jacob Walker & Jack Taylor).

Midlands Finals - Friday 8th June 2012 - Matlock Golf Club, Derbyshire

Team Championship - Wednesday 11th July 2012 - Woodhall Spa Golf Club, Lincolnshire

Under 16 Championship - Monday 23rd July 2012 - Birstall Golf Club, Leicestershire

James Hollis (Fernwood), Jordan Boulton (All Saints RC), Oliver Drew (All Saints RC), Carter Newton (Holgate), Emily Lyle (Portland) and Sophie Newlove (Beckett). Additionally, if Lewis Parker (Selston Arts & Community College) and Keir Stockdale (Valley) reduce their handicaps to five or below before the entry deadline, they will also be included.
